IREDELL COUNTY.
This agreement made this the 17th day of December,
1934, between Lela L. Newman, of Iredell County, party of the
first part, and P. D, Cline, of Iredell County, party of the
second part, WITNESSETH:
In consideration of the sum of Twenty-Seven Dollars
and Seventy-Three Cents, made by said party of the second part
to said party of the first part, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, the said party of the first part does hereby bar-
gain, sell and assign unto the said party of the second part all
the goods, chattels, and affects in and about the Country Club
Service Station situated and being on the Salibbury Road, ap-
proximately one mile from the city limits of Statesville and
being in Iredell County.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said goods, chattels, and affects
under the said party of the second part, his executors, administra-
tors, and assigns to his own use forever. The intention of both
parties to this instrument is to the end that all that stock of
groceries located in the above mentioned premises shall be con-
veyed, and it is understood that the chattels and goods conveyed
are the chattels and goods that are located in the premises on
this date and is not to include any goods or chattels which are
located thera after this date.
And the said party of the first pert does hereby coeven-
anty to the said party of the second pert thet she is the lawful
owner of the suid good, chattels, and affects; that they are
free and clear from @1l encumbrance; that she has good right to
seli the same; that she will warrant and defend the same against
the lawful claims and demands of all persons.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we hereunto set our hands and
seals this the 17th day of December , 1934.
