Clege - and The United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company, of Bal- timore, Md., a corporation duly created and existing under ~ rhe laws of the State of Maryland, are held and. firmly bound. unto the State of North Carolina, in the sum of Eight thousand ($8000,00) Dollars, tothe payment whereof, we bind ousselves and each of us, our heirs, executors, administrators, assigns successor and successors, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Signed and sealed this 15th, day of July 18¢%. THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH¢ That if the above bounden George W. Clegg, Public Administrator for [redell County, State of North Carolina, do make a true and perfect inventory, and account of sales, of all the real eatate , and all the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the several estates which may be committed to his charge as such Public Administrator, or to the possession of any other person for hir an@ the same do exhibit into the office of the Clerk of the Superior Coyprt of said County, within ninety days, according to law, all the goods, chattels, rights and credits of the several estates, and the proceeds of any real estate that may be sold for the payment of debts, which shall, at ant time, come into his possession, or to the possession of any other person for him; and futher, do make a true and just account of all the administrations within two years after the date of the several letters off administration, and all the rest and residue of the said proceeds of real estate, goods, chat-—- tels and credits which shall be found remaining upon his accouw (the same being first examined and alluwed by the Clerk of the Superior Court), shall deliver and pay to such person as the same shall be due unto, pursuant to law; and if it shall appear that any last Will and Testament was made by any de- ceased, and the executor or executors therein named do exhib- it the same to the Clerk of the Superior Court, making re- quest to have it allowed and approved and the said George W. Clege above bound being thereunto required, do render and deliver the said letters of administration(probate of such Testament being first had and made) in the Superior Court, and faithfully perform the duties of the office and obey all law- ful orders of the Clerk of the Superior Court or other Court touching the administration of the several estates that may a come into his hands, then this obligation to be void, and of no effects; otherwise to be and remain in full force and effect.
